I always design my own hats to complete my fashion thought … I like them slightly mad …

Oscar de la Renta, (1932-2014) speaking in 1963. Mr. de la Renta, who recently passed away, was a couture fashion designer and a favorite among First Ladies including Nancy Reagan, Hillary Clinton, and Laura Bush.

Thank you Mr. de la Renta for decades of beautiful clothing. May you rest in peace and style.

Great quote. Love the idea of slightly mad hats and just realized the Alice in Wonderland allusion.
