It’s interesting the fear that fashion can push into people. It’s not supposed to make you feel bad and paranoid. It’s supposed to encourage you to feel great and reflect who you are.

Love your blog. My own blog is about my many “lifes.” (“Lives” just doesn’t read correctly somehow.) However, my heart belongs to fashion. I reblogged your offering last week on top of my story about. making maple syrup on my 70s homestead, and it thoroughly confused my readers, who insist upon pushing me into a box. Anyhow, I just discovered you, and I absolutely adore your wit and words.

Thank you, Milie. I am so pleased you are enjoying OverDressed for Life and are sharing with your readers. Funny, I just bought a bottle of maple syrup yesterday for a recipe. I haven’t bought syrup in ages and I know I’d prefer fresh homemade. Keep reading and I’ll be checking out your blog, too.
My favorite outfits come from those little old ladies on the bus, who clearly do not care what anybody else thinks and they are going to wear whatever they feel like. I love it- the creative expression, the fun they have with their clothes. Head to toe yellow outfit, why not?
Very Bangled, you would like the new film Advanced Style. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWKTfqivbRQ
I LOVE THESE LADIES! Especially the mama all in red, with the twenty cinnabar bangles, and cinnabar bead necklaces with the matching round glasses. Oh and the silver haired lady dressed like a jockey with the bow tie. I love it. They’ve got it down pat.
