Zara and Sahar.
On a recent Sunday afternoon I spotted these two lovely women chatting together in a local park while looking casual-chic.
Sahar and Zara originally hail from Iran but now live in the Lamorinda area.
Zara is wearing edgy ripped leggings paired with a comfy sneakers. I like that she chose a button-down shirt with a flattering slim-fit (instead of a more typical and less interesting T-shirt). She pulled the whole thing together by adding a pop of color in the turquoise scarf.
Sahar went for pattern in black and white to top her leggings. A longish sweater accented with faux fur offers lots of pizzazz and completes the outfit. Like Zara she used an accessory to brighten the look – love the fuchsia handbag! Another cute pair of trendy sneakers, which look sharp and guarantee easy walking.
Comfortable yet fashionable and interesting to boot.
Nicely done!
they like – BUT I REALLY NEED MORE… Tea at Ritz, Bar Vendome, would have been more enjoyable if not for the young jeans crowd – especially the ripped ones. Yes they could afford it and they were not bothering anyone….I…. Just NEED MORE. Dress code has been abolished….It will take time for personal dress codes to kick in? Thanks for letting me sound off ! Just had to Jacquelyn Goudeau,
Oh I understand, Jacquelyn, what you’re saying. It’s a shame that nice places such as the Ritz, or locally the St. Francis, no longer insist on a dress code and unfortunately people don’t make the effort (or even know how) to dress well. It’s a different more casual world and that’s just the way it is. But I still dress up for festive events and upscale places. Zara and Sahar were not in a fancy hotel or restaurant but in a park and for just a Sunday stroll they stood out among the others donning shorts, T-shirts, sloppy jeans, the usual garb. That’s why I took their photo and decided to write about them. Thanks for the comment and for being a regular reader!
